Cabaret is the windsurfing capital of the Caribean. It probably holds its existence almost entirely to windsurfing and kite surfing. It's frequented mostly by Europeans looking for near-perfect winds.
The morning is generally good for beginners while in the afternoon the wind picks up to please the board heads.
I went out one afternoon with a cool F2 board and a 6.2 sail only to find myself totally overpowered and heading straight for Cuba.
