Cabaret is the windsurfing capital of the
Caribean. It probably holds its existence almost entirely to windsurfing
and kite surfing. It's frequented mostly by Europeans looking for near-perfect
winds.
The morning is generally good for beginners while in the afternoon the
wind picks up to please the board heads.
I went out one afternoon with a cool F2 board and a 6.2 sail only to find
myself totally overpowered and heading straight for Cuba.

You can always find a spot away from everyone at Cabarete.

A local vendor. There are many vendors trying to sell you something
in order to
to make a living, needless to say we bought a lot of stuff.
